Blond Beauties

This family’s mini session was one that I’ve been wanting to share with you all for a while, but with the holiday season, things were a little crazy here.  I have the joy of having Anne in my small group at Mothers Together, a moms group at our church, and she has such a beautiful spirit about her.  She also happens to be stunning on the outside, and look at those two blond girlies she has!  It’s one of those photographer things that when we meet people, we wonder how we would photograph them, especially some people.  So to actually have the pleasure of finally getting to photograph that hair, that style and that zest, well, it was quite a treat for me!

Baby brother

This little guy was born in December, and so the crazy journey of parenting more than one child begins for Louis and Louise!  It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was celebrating their first pregnancy with them, and now here they are with a sweet, chatty, three year old little girl and a brand new baby boy.  And they’re doing just great.  It’s always such an honour to get welcomed into those first few weeks, which always seemed to me like they were one really really really long day with no true night, and help capture the newness of life and the new stage that it ushers into the whole family dynamic.  Congratulations!  You’re doing great you two!

The Petersons

We’re in the thick of the holiday season, and I’m having so much fun!  I got to take photos of one of my favourite families recently, and thought I’d share the fun with you.  It’s been a year and a half since I was taking newborn photos of Abby, and now she’s just full of energy and running around everywhere!  Kate and Lizzie were full of their great personalities as always, and the combination made for some sweet photos.  In case you want to remember with me that newborn time that seems like just the other day, here’s the link to that post:  https://storytreestudios.co/2014/04/25/abigail/

The Hales

I had the privilege of spending an afternoon with this lovely family – and individual time with each of the kids.  What I saw in our time just makes me extra excited for what I hope our family will be like in a few more years.  A little dancing, a little teasing, and lots of laughing… and a great Taylor Swift soundtrack for it all!  Thanks for welcoming me into your home and letting me move your furniture around 🙂  Enjoy!

Simply Manual

Simply Manual by Nicole Moore at Storytree Studios

This has been a LONG time in the works.  A couple of years ago, I wrote a workbook outlining the basics of using your camera’s manual mode.  What I had in mind was doing a workshop at some point, and even just being able to have something to hand to all of my friends and clients who had purchased “nice” cameras and didn’t know where to begin with learning how to use them.  Now, fast forward to today.  I have finally finished the job of taking the information from my notebook and putting it on the computer!  I am THRILLED to get to share this with you!  So, that said, if you want a copy of this e-book, send me your e-mail address so I can send you the pdf.  I’m also offering this to all of my facebook fans, so, if you’re my fan on facebook (www.facebook.com/storytreestudios), then send me a message with your e-mail and I will send you this for free through the end of April!
