I have managed to take a photo each day, although to be honest, a couple of days it has been 10:30pm and I get out the camera and take a shot of my kids sleeping, or something else random. However, these are some of the standouts from this 365 project so far.
One thing I did that I was pretty excited about was set up a mini “studio” to take a still shot of a toy camera. To do this, I used the little behind the door corner in our office, so I had three white walls around my little corner. I set the camera on an ottoman, and only used flash light bounced off of the side wall at a 45 degree angle. It was night time, so there was no other light in the room. I would get the shot set up, then ask my daughter to turn off the “big light” then I’d click. After a couple of less than perfect shots, I realized that the camera needed to be sitting on something white, too, so I took a poster and used the white back of it. I taped it to the wall a little above the ottoman, then draped the rest of it over the ottoman. Victory!
Here is the pull-back photo of what my “mini studio” looked like…
Great photos! I especially love the last one of your daughter.
I love how bright your laundry room is and how you use it to display artwork. Makes me wish our window wasn’t covered up by racks. 🙁
