Over this last year, I have read in a few places about something called a “365 Project.” Having never heard of it before, I wanted to read more about it… and when I did, decided that it was not something for me! Essentially, it involves taking a photo and editing it every day of the year for one full year. A recipe for failure in my mind.
However, now that it is January 1 and I’m in an adventurous, conquer-the-world mood, I have changed my mind. I was inspired by Click It Up A Notch, and as I’ve mentioned before, I need something to make me continue to take photos of my own family amidst all the sessions I do of others. So… here is day 1. I will not be posting every photo, but will share when I can, and when there’s a photo I especially love! Today was our last day in Langley, BC for the Christmas break, and we woke up to fog. I got really excited, though, when the sun came up behind the fog. I threw clothes on the kids and ran outside (with promises of chocolate bar pieces and spicy drink when we returned).
I love the softness of these photos – the light and the fog make it magic!
I love the one of Hyatt. What a pretty setting. It sounds like this will be a year full of promises of chocolate bar pieces and spicy drink. Good luck! 😉
Beautiful!
So moody and mysterious, yet full of innocence. Lovely.
