Julie and Peter celebrated 10 years of marriage – and they celebrated in style!  With a small ceremony in their backyard, followed by a party with great friends and dancing.  Their love for each other was so apparent, and I thought it was beautiful how their kids celebrated with them – and even had some of their favorite songs as the first dance choices!

On a technical level, this event presented a challenge for me with an entirely different lighting setup than I choose when I do photo sessions.  I was able to take a few pictures of the kids before the ceremony began, and before we lost the light completely.  My very favorite photo of the evening was a spontaneous one of Julie as she readied to go down the aisle.  She turned toward the light of the house for a moment and it was magical.  So, I am sharing with you just a few of my very favorites of the evening:)
