One thing I love in photography, the same way I love it in fashion and in home decor, is a splash of color.  And not just any color, mind you, but something bright.  Picture red (the orangey red is my current favorite), turquoise, or today’s highlight:  mustard yellow.  The added bonus of adding a pop of color to our home decor is that it invariably adds that same pop to the photos I take in that environment.  We had a little outing to IKEA the other day, and I discovered the perfect throw pillows to add to our living room couches.  The right shade of yellow, the right style, and the right price (who can say no to $3.99?!).  So, here are a couple of photos in celebration of the yellow that burst into our living room.
